ALTUS is headquartered in our company-owned, state-of-the-art factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. Our products are highly tooled and incorporate patented,
proprietary sit-to-stand lift technology. Each and every ALTUS product is assembled and packaged using ergonomic, pre-calibrated assembly tools to ensure perfect quality and consistent performance. Our team of engineers, product managers, and sales representatives are highly skilled in assistng customers in developing custom solutions faster and more effi ciently. Altus spent more than two years of collaborative engineering and design development to create our products for the offi ce or home. Altus’s performance capability combines Sit-to-Stand technology, engineering, and styling.

Environmentally speaking, Altus’s form was created to minimize material use and mechanical complexities while maximizing ease of adjustability and performance. Our dedication to environmentally responsible product design is refl ected in the overall durability and recyclability of the materials used to make our products.

Altus’s Design Protocol
Our commitment to corporate sustainability naturally includes minimizing the environmental impact of each of our products. Our Product Development Team applies environmentally sensitive design standards to both new and existing Altus products.
 Altus goes beyond regulatory compliance to thoroughly evaluate new product designs in three key areas:
  • Material Chemistry & Safety of Inputs - What chemicals are in the materials we specify, and are they the safest available?

  • Disassembly – Can we take products apart at the end of
    their useful life, to recycle their materials?
  • Recyclability – Do the materials contain recycled content,
    and more importantly, can the materials be recycled at the
    end of the product’s useful life?

Material Content
Altus’s components are constructed principally from plastic, aluminum, wood, and steel.

IMPORTANT FACT: Altus’s H Class Carts, and all other Sit to Stand Adjustable Tables and Carts are 95 percent recyclable. This means our complete product is 95 percent recyclable. Altus encourages you to ask other manufacturer’s about the recyclability of their products.
Altus products are up to 95 percent recyclable at the end of its useful life.
