As of June 1, 2016, InterMetro has sold its Healthcare Technology business to TouchPoint Inc.  This includes the AccessPoint and Flo Computer Carts, AccessPoint RX MD Mobile Medical Dispensing Carts, AccessCenter and Med Dispense automated dispensing machines and the MetroMount wall mounting systems.

What does this mean for Altus?

We see this as a great opportunity to take care of both current Metro customers and resellers.  Often times during a buyout like this one, service falters as attention is distracted from customer relations.  Existing customers may be looking for new manufacturers who are invested in their product and growing their business.  For similar reasons, many resellers could be looking for new partnerships with manufacturers.

What should you do?

  • Reach out to your Regional Sales Director to strategize a certain customer or area that you know is Metro heavy.
  • Be on the lookout for Metro products within hospital settings to discuss service and response times.
  • Scan resellers in your area as now is a great time to approach new relationships!
